Welcome to the 1st Waltham Forest South - Noor Ul Islam Scout Group
The first session of the Group took place on the 15th April 2010. After two months preparation, finally the 1st Waltham Forest South - Noor Ul Islam Scout Group was up and running. Present at the inaugural session was the District Commissioner Mr. Mike Pattenden and Mr. Yusuf Hansa, the Chairman of The Noor Ul Islam Trust, both have given great support to the Group.
Muslim Scout and Scout Groups in general are all about having fun and learning new things in a friendly environment.
We are pleased to announce the launch of two new sections, namely, Boy Scouts (aged 10½ plus) & Girl Scouts (aged 10½ plus). At a special event on the 16th April, which was held in the Noor Ul Islam Pre-School hall, 715 High Road, Leyton, London E10 5AB, we started the registration process and now have a nearly fourth Boy/Girl Scouts.
